Painting Her Destiny

I first learned about Nice So when fellow SoMom Tiffany of Breakfast with Tiffany posted pictures of her artwork in our group page.  Tiff also shared that Nice had been diagnosed with lupus.  But instead of feeling sorry for herself, she paints to support her medical treatments.

A mother and child painting caught my eye and I sent Nice a text message and I was able to purchase this piece.  Nice also included a February 2014 Kerygma magazine where she shared her story.

In 2006, Nice learned to paint during one of her many hospital stays.  Since then, she has completed more than 600 paintings - given, donated or sold to raise funds for lupus patients.  Despite being afflicted with lupus, Nice has 4 scholars in Negros to whom she sends allowance and school supplies.
