Early this year, we actually had a training in Cebu - LATCH Batch 4, spearheaded by our Cebu-based LATCHer, Mylene Santana. It was a merry mix of lay people, nurses and doctors. LATCH is excited to work in Cebu for more activities in the future.

Let me go to the main purpose of this post. I'd like to share that LATCH is recruiting! What makes the LATCH training different from others is that after you undergo the LATCH training, you become part of the organization. So even if you have undergone the training of Arugaan (which I have done through my work place), signing up for this training means that you have the intention to join the organization, LATCH.
Signing up is the first way to signify your interest. The applications will be evaluated and those qualified for the next recruitment step will be scheduled for interview, then proceed with the training. It will be an exciting 2014, with several activities lined up! We're working on a breastfeeding video project with the Philippine Pediatric Society and Arugaan. We are also working on bringing Dr Jack Newman back to the Philippines - hopefully this time, not only in Manila but in Cebu and Davao as well!
So what are you waiting for? Sign up and join the excitement!
