Cloth Diapering 101 on 26 January 2013

Modern cloth diapers are a lot different from the traditional "lampins" that our parents used on us.  Some may raise an eyebrow on why there is a need to hold a seminar just to use cloth diapers.  Well, there are a lot of new parents who are on the fence and unsure on how to use modern cloth diapers because of misinformation and the supposed inconvenience it brings about.

This seminar is directed to those families who are open-minded and interested to learn about modern cloth diapers.  Unlike the nappies of before, there are all sorts of different kinds - all in ones, pockets, all-in-twos, hybrid, etc. etc.  Plus there are all sorts of accessories available to make cloth nappying much easier.

Together with Next9 and Tickled Moms, we have been organizing the cloth diapering 101 seminar for free since last year to encourage more families to switch to cloth.

What do we discuss?  We share the advantages of switching to cloth, what are the types of cloth diapers, how to successfully cloth diaper when out and about, at night and when traveling, how to troubleshoot - e.g. deal with leaky, stinky diapers, etc.

I'm proud and happy to share that during our 12-day trip to Cebu and Davao, E was completely in cloth diapers!  We stayed in 2 hotels in Cebu and at my house in Davao.  I did wash the diapers in Cebu but only to get out the stinky smell.  We did the full washing in Davao.

Want to learn more?  Sign up for Cloth Diapering 101 at The Medela House on 26 January 2013, at 2pm.  To sign up, email medelamoms[at]gmail[dot]com or call them at 725-3723 or 738-6272.  Hope to see you there!
