A couple of months ago, I received gift certificates from Pois, Belly and Kids, along with a Press Release about their brand. I wasn't able to visit their freestanding store until recently - and I grabbed the opportunity to use the GCs to shop for the classic look for N that I was hoping for.
Pois, Belly and Kids is the brainchild of Eurowear Marketing Corp. owned by Clement and Rowena Velasco. It is actually composed of 3 separate lines - Pois (tweens and teens), Belly (for pregnant and nursing moms) and Great Kids (toddlers and preschoolers). They also own the Great Expectations line of maternity wear that is popular in department stores.
Since N is in her princess phase, she fell in love with the frills, tutus and embellished blouses and bottoms under the Great Kids line. But I was undeterred and gently steered her towards the classics to achieve the holiday look I was hoping for :).

We eventually ended up with 5 pieces that could be mixed and matched. One of the pieces was a candy shirt dress which was pretty cute - even I couldn't resist it!
I also found a couple of dual-purpose tops and dresses which moms can use from pregnancy to nursing. But since it was a N shopping day, I wasn't able to purchase anything for myself :(
Pois Belly and Kids is targeting the global market and now has 7 freestanding stores: TriNoma - near Activity Center, SM Megamall Level 5 (Atrium), SM Mall of Asia - near Kids Universe, SM City Cebu (Level 2, North Wing), SM City Iloilo (Upper Ground Floor) and SM Lanang Premier Davao. They also have a Facebook page which you can visit for updates.
