A Mothering Earthlings Confessional & Giveaway: Breastfeeding Bloopers

It's August once again and since we are celebrating Breastfeeding Month, it's my turn to host a Mothering Earthlings Confessional on breastfeeding bloopers!

Mothering Earthlings is an online store with handpicked one-of-a-kind products for moms, babies and kids!  What makes this store unique is that the quirky, yummy mama behind it - Rone Valles-Guerrero - took pains to hunt down and collate various Filipino brands into her store, making them available and accessible to moms with discerning taste and patriotic pride!  Aside from running her store, Rone also shares stories about her earthlings in her blog and Twitter account.

Since it's breastfeeding month, Rone and I will be sharing our breastfeeding bloopers and are inviting the readers to do so too!

So, let's start with Rone's - what's wrong with this picture?

oops! somebody forgot to put her top back on!

When I first went back to work, one of the things I asked my employer for was a place to express milk.  My boss generously gave up the conference room beside his office and converted it into my office so I will have a private room to pump in.  Now, his office and my office were divided by an accordion-style partition.  During my 2nd week at work, I forgot to lock the accordion door and in the middle of my pumping session, boss (a male, former Cabinet Secretary) walked in!  Oops! Happily, I had my nursing cover on and he just immediately turned around and walked back into his office.  Since then, I've never forgotten to lock the door and he never goes into my office and just calls my name when he needs something.

Meanwhile, here's my breastfeeding picture.  Nursing N 4 years ago and nursing E a couple of months ago at our favorite beach resort - Paradise in Davao City. I had been going to this resort since I was a kid and I'm glad that it is still there for my kids to enjoy :)
